Woman worshiping at Main Sanctuary of Highrock Church
Sundays at 9:00am

Sunday service at Highrock church is about bringing honest and passionate worship to God here in Salem. The highlight of each week, it is a time to rejoice, revive, and rest.  It is a time of community, when we worship, serve, eat, and laugh together.

It is a time where fractured people encounter a healing God who puts us back together again and makes us whole. It is a time to find strength in following Christ.  But most importantly, our time together on Sundays is a platform for a whole week of life together.  We believe that the Church is more than a gathering on Sunday mornings.  It's a "who," the people of Christ.  So we invite you to come and get to know who we are as we gather together each week.

We worship in a variety of ways, through songs, stories, creative arts, and sermons. We value relevance, while adhering to centuries-old Christian traditions, and incorporate both ancient and contemporary elements in our worship. Every first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Communion, the Lord’s Supper.

Dress

Come as you are! Some people come in t-shirts and jeans, and others come business casual. There is no expectation that you should dress in a certain way to be here at Highrock!

We rent space from the First Baptist Church of Salem, but are not corporately affiliated with them.

Parking: You can park in any legal space along any of the side streets (e.g., Ocean Ave). Parking is also available at the North Shore Infant and Toddler lot (275 Lafayette Street).

To Church From Salem State University: We're within walking distance of North Campus. Walk north to the new School of Social Work, cross the street, and say hello!

Need a Ride?: Let us know HERE and we will connect you with a driver near you!

Highrock is accessible because we want to include everyone around God's table, including those with special physical challenges. There are designated handicapped parking spaces on Lafayette Street in front of the church building. There is a handicap accessible entrance on the right of the building that leads to sanctuary. In both our strengths and our limitations, we each reflect essential elements of the image of God. We hope that you will feel welcome here so that the image of God we reflect will be more complete.

Rest of the Week

There’s always something going on at Highrock!

At Highrock, we believe we are called to live in community with one another. However, we recognize intentional relationships may be more difficult to foster in a large group setting.  In order to provide a regular, safe place for relationships to grow, we have developed LifeGroups.

LifeGroups are one of the ways Highrock fulfills its mission to cultivate a loving Christian community through which people are transformed individually and collectively into the body of Christ by connecting with God personally, with God's people, and with God's purposes.

If you're looking to get connected, any of our community groups ("LifeGroups") are a great place to start.
